Abstract:
Abstract This is the first bibliography on HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia and Ethiopians in the Diaspora. It covers all aspects of the epidemic and prevention and control efforts as well as patient care and support between 1984 and the end of 2002, as well as major publications on earlier research on possible primate retrovirus reservoirs and transmission to humans. The 943 references to publications and unpublished reports on HIV, AIDS, risk behavior, socioeconomic and demographic impacts and interventions are classified under seven broad subject headings to facilitate access by researchers from different academic disciplines, policy makers and health workers. Each reference is classified by its major subject, without cross-classification, in chronological order and alphabetized for each year.
