the objective of the study. In the study, 160 students and 2 English teachers were taken using
purposive sampling techniques .The researcher used questionnaire, interview and observation to
collect the desired data from participants. After the data were collected, it was analyzed,
interpreted and presented. The finding of this study revealed that EFL students prefer different
learning styles to learn vocabulary. EFL teachers were recommended to address different
learning styles such as kinesthetic, visual and auditory in teaching vocabulary in EFL classes.
The finding also indicated that teachers were not focused to their students’ learning styles
preference. The results revealed that teachers were aware their students’ inclination to work
within small and larger groups when attempting their tasks. Finally, the researcher
recommended that both teachers and students have to understand the importance of learning
styles in vocabulary learning .Students and teachers should be encouraged to keep their
performance with the latest subjects on learning styles. Thus, it’s advisable if the students take
the responsibility and play an active role in their own vocabulary learning. It is also better if the
students take the initiative to increase self-awareness, set goals and choose appropriate learning
styles to achieve successful vocabulary learning. Teachers are also advice to provide
opportunities for students to venture into several learning styles through suitable class activities
and exercises.
