Abstract:
The main objective of this research was to explore the practice and challenges of Productive Safety Net
Program and the level of food security in Sekela woreda. For the purposes of this study, three rural
Kebeles with a high number of PSNP beneficiaries were chosen using purposive sampling. Descriptive
survey and explanatory research design was used with mixed research approach. Field observation, focus
group household interviews, and questionnaires were employed as primary data sources while document
analysis was used as a secondary source
