dc.description.abstract Background: The menstrual period is a natural phenomenon that occurs throughout the reproductive life, accompanied by different hormonal changes in every female. Due to the hormonal changes and sociocultural difficulties, adolescent girls before and during the age of menarche have a higher risk of psychological distress, like anxiety and depression.
