The World Health Organization (WHO) emphasizes that every woman has the right to
respectful and dignified care during pregnancy and childbirth. However, Obstetric Violence
(OV), a form of gender-based violence, remains prevalent in many countries, including
Ethiopia. This mistreatment, which includes physical, verbal, or psychological abuse during
childbirth, undermines women's dignity and poses significant risks to their health and well-
being
