Prevalence and Associated Factors of Surgical Site Infections Following Open Reduction and Internal Fixation at Jimma University Medical Center, Ethiopia: A Cross-Sectional Study

Abstract

Surgical Site Infections are serious complications of open reduction and internal fixation, increasing morbidity and healthcare costs. In Ethiopia, despite a high burden of trauma and injuries that necessitate orthopedic surgical intervention, including open reduction and internal fixation procedures that could predispose patients to high risks of surgical site infection
