dc.description.abstract Hyperuricemia is a metabolic disorder characterized by elevated serum uric acid levels and is increasingly associated with cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Despite its clinical importance, there is limited evidence on the magnitude of hyperuricemia and its associated factors among hospitalized adult patients, particularly in Ethiopia and at Jimma University Medical Center.
