| dc.description.abstract | Diarrheal illness is the third largest cause of death in children under 5 years old globally. Despite global measures to prevent and control diarrhea, it remains a public health issue that causes significant morbidity and mortality in children, particularly in developing countries. Bacterial, viral, and parasitic agents are among the primary causes of diarrheal diseases. Despite the seriousness of these diseases, there is a shortage of studies on diarrheal disease caused by enteric bacteria and parasites in Ethiopia, particularly at the study site. | en_US |
