dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, we present a refinement and second degree iteration of generalized successive over relaxation methods for solving large system of linear equations and their convergence properties are discussed. Some numerical examples are considered to show the efficiency of the proposed methods. The present methods are also compared against the othermethods based on the number of iterations, computational running time and accuracy of each method. The results presented in tables show that Refinement and Second Degree Iteration of Generalized Successive Over Relaxation are more efficient than the other methods considered inthis thesis. | en_US |
