Student engagement is an essential element in students' learning. An important factor that is increasingly associated with student engagement and learning in schools involves student-teacher relationships. The purpose of this study was to look at a behavior of student-teacher relationships in the context of physical education in some selected south bench secondary schools, examine teacher student relationships on education and how teacher and student behaviors affect educational outcomes. The research participants were selected from five schools in terms of proportional stratified random sampling and in some extent purposive sampling technique. The participants include physical education teachers and students from three schools. Research data was gathered by way of semi structured interviews observation and questionnaire were hold. The data was analyzed by using frequency and percentage, to some extent spss version 25 was used with qualitative description. At last the final result was proposed and data was summarized, concluded and recommended by the researcher. The findings of the study indicated that there was not a good student teacher relationship and behaviors between physical education teachers and students in teaching physical education in those selected study area of south bench woreda secondary schools. |
