dc.description.abstract In this thesis, we introduced a new class of maps namely an almost generalized α admissible Z- contraction pair of maps and establish a common fixed point theorem. Moreover, we prove the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points in the setting of b-metric spaces with the help of simulation function. Our results unify several related results in the existing literature. Finally, we verify the established result by an example en_US
