| dc.description.abstract | The fractional reduced differential transform method (FRDTM) was a well-known method for finding an approximate analytic solution for linear and nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. FRDTM is an effective tool to solve partial differential equations analytically. This method provides the solution in the form of a convergent series with easily calculable terms. In this study FRDTM has been successfully applied on one dimensional time fractional Fornberg-Whitham equation subjected to the given initial condition. The efficacy and accuracy of FRDTM is demonstrated by two examples, which indicate that the presented method is very effective, accurate and easy to emplement. The plotted graphs illustrate the behavior of the solution for different values of order | en_US |
