Existence And Uniqueness Of Solutions For Two Point Second Order Sturm Liouville Boundary Value Problems via Upper And Lower Solution Method

Abstract

In this paper, the conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solution of lower and upper solutions of second order non- linear ordinary di erential equations were considered. New de nitions of upper and lower solutions for our problems are presented. Also considered was the technique for constructing lower and upper solutions of the second order non-linear ordinary di erential equation for two point boundary value problem. The existence of solution for two point second order Sturm Liouvill problem boundary value problem determined. The uniqueness of solution for two point second order Sturm Liouvill problem boundary value problem was also determined. the examples illustrating the use of lower and upper solutions were given.
