dc.description.abstract The project`s success is dependent on its performance. Project performance is one of the most common challenges that construction projects face during its implementation. The main objective of this study was to evaluate factors that affect the performance of the waste disposal landfill construction project of the Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Agency of Jimma branch. A descriptive and explanatory research design was used in the study. This study was undertaken at the Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Agency disposal land fill construction project in Jimma town. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted using 40 identified factors which are categorized into 5 groups. 97 Questionnaires were distributed, and 88 questionnaires were returned: 33 (97%) from owners, 24 (96%) from contractors, 18 (90%) from Consultant and 13 (72%) from stakeholder. The quantitative data was collected through a structured, self-administered questionnaire. A cross-sectional study was conducted in the month of May 2022. The intended impact on Project performance by the factors of labor and Material management related, procurement management related, stockholders’ management related and contractor related, factors was considered using the multivariate linear regression model. The result showed that Procurement Management Related Factors (m=3.81) was the first ranked factor followed by Stakeholder Related Factors (m=3.47) which secondly ranked and Material Related Factors (m=3.45). Thus, Procurement Management Related Factors, material related factors and stakeholder related factors are the factors which need a great concern to improve the performance of the project. Finally the research give recommended suggestions and replied what mechanisms are suitable to solve the stated problems concerning clients, consultants and contractors and how the problems can be solved in company’s existing situation. en_US
