Abstract:
Seizure is a transient clinical condition resulting from abnormal excessive
neuronal activity in the brain. Post-stroke seizures adversely affect functional recovery, length of
hospital stay and mortality among stroke patients. Despite its clinical importance in stroke
patients, evidence regarding its burden and determinants remains limited in LMICs including
Ethiopia. This study aimed to assess the incidence and predictors of post-stroke seizure among
adult patients admitted with stroke to Jimma medical center
