Abstract:
Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic neurological conditions in children
and is associated with an increased risk of poor health-related quality of life (HRQoL).
Children with epilepsy experience difficulties across multiple domains of functioning,
including emotional and behavioral well-being, social competence, academic achievement,
and family life, with impacts that may extend into adulthood. Effective management of epilepsy
therefore requires recognition of its broad effects on all aspects of life
