Coupled fixed point results of Φ- contractive type coupling in metric spaces

Abstract

In this research work, based on the recent work of Choudhury et al., (2017), we established a coupled fixed point theorem of Chatterjea φ-contraction type coupling in metric spaces and proved the existence and uniqueness of strong coupled fixed point in metric spaces. An example is also provided in support of our main result. The procedure that we followed was the standard procedures used in the published works of (Choudhury et al., 2017) and (Aydi, Barakat, Felhi, and Radenovic, 2017). This study was conducted from September 2017 G.C. to June 2018 G.C.
