5 WEHO, 5 principals, 10 Vice-Principals, 10 PSTA and 134 teachers were selected using
simple random methods. Three basic research questions guided for the study. The reliability
of the instruments was calculated by using Cronbach’s Alpha and the result was determined
as .733, which fit the assumption. Data were gathered through questionnaire and interviews
and analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation and data obtained through
interview was qualitatively analyzed. The data of quality management predictors were
analyzed using multiple linear regression models. The major finding of the study revealed that
the extent to which school principal’s practice of planning, organizing, directing, and
controlling were the determinants of quality management. The multiple regression model
obtained from analysis of the six independent variables on quality management was Y=-
