Abstract

BACKGROUND: Community-based health insurance (CBHI) scheme is an emerging and growing tool to improve access to health care services for the poor part of the community. Ethiopia has introduced CBHI schemes with aim to improve equity and access to essential health care for rural communities. Medical laboratory service is one of essential health care incorporated in CBHI schemes. However, there have been limited evidences on satisfaction of CBHI beneficiaries with laboratory service and associated factors in Ethiopia
