dc.description.abstract In this thesis, calculations of the excitation function of alpha induced 54 26 F e(α, n) 57 28 Ni, 54 26 F e(α, 2n) 56 28 Ni, 54 26 F e(α, 3n) 55 28 Ni and 54 26 F e(α, p) 57 27 Co reaction on iron 54 F e in different energy regions have been carried out. The theoretical calculation were done using code COMPLET and compared with experimental nuclear data. The cross-sections were calculated for the production of 56,57 Ni and 57 Co in 54 F e(α, Xn) where X = 1, 2 and 54 F e(α, P ) respectively. The graph of energy versus cross-section (σ) is being plotted. It is observed that theoretical cross-sections are in good agreement with experimental data taken from EXFOR. en_US
