dc.description.abstract In this thesis, we have analyzed a pair of superposed twin squeezed states with the same or different frequency. We have found that the mean photon number for a pair of superposed twin squeezed states is the sum of that of the separate squeezed states. However, the variance of the photon number for a pair of superposed twin squeezed states does not happens to be the sum of that of the constituent light beams. And the quadrature variance of superposed light beams is 2 times that of the separate light beams. Finally, we have obtained that the maximum quadrature squeezing for both separate and superposed light beams is 50% below the vacuum state level and photons in the superposed states are entangled and highly correlated en_US
