dc.description.abstract In this work, neutron induced reactions on barium nucleus (134 56 Ba − 136 56 Ba) in different energy regions were theoretically studied. The nuclear reaction cross sections for five reactions namely, 134Ba(n; 2n)133Ba, 136Ba(n; 2n)135Ba, 134Ba(n; p)134Cs , 135Ba(n; p)135Cs and 136Ba(n; p)136Cs were calculated using COMPLET nuclear computer code. Experimental cross section data was downloaded from the Experimental Nuclear Reaction Data library (EXFOR) for the reactions and energy ranges. This was based on the objective to compare the theoretically calculated data with experimental data. The data was compared using Figures and Tables followed by discussions. A good agreement is obtained between theoretically calculated cross section values and experimentally calculated cross section values for five reactions. en_US
