Cluster based wireless sensor network have different sensor nodes with different roles. Wireless
sensor network based on node clustering techniques is used to partition WSNs into cluster, which
helps to save energy consumption of sensor nodes and extend the lifetime of networks also
increase delivery ratio of packet. There is three phase in cluster based wireless sensor network
.On the first phase sensor node detect environment data and cluster head collect the data from
sensor node and broadcast to base station. In this process CH play vital role to aggregate the
data However, WSNs are vulnerable to security threats, such as wormhole attack, node replica
attack, Sybil attack and sinkhole attack. Wireless sensor network has deploying on unsecure
environment this make venerable to different attacks. This can compromise legitimate node and
attract network traffic to gain credential information, leading to the depletion of sensor node’s
battery.
Sinkhole nodes in wireless sensor network attackers to take control over the network by
manipulating the election of cluster Head (CH) and disrupting the cluster formation process. It’s
considered the most damaging attack in WSNs. To solve problem mentioned on above, we
proposed detection of sinkhole attack cluster based wireless sensor network during cluster
formation by using LEACH routing protocol. Our proposed schemas ensure security of wireless
sensor network.
In this study, Delivery ratios of packet and energy consumption of nodes are improved than
existing ones. Evaluation of proposed work performance is examined against detection of
sinkhole attack based on distributed by using LEACH routing protocol. We are using some
simulation parameters like NS2 and Ubuntu version16.04 operating system for the produced
results. From the simulation result it can be concluded that the produced result showed good
values of packet delivery ratio and energy consumption of node than the existing approach. |
