dc.description.abstract The Green Legacy Initiative was launched in June 2019 by aiming to mitigate the climate change; however, its effectiveness by improving the degraded ecosystem, environment and watershed has not been evaluated comprehensively. The aim of this study was to assess the challenges and opportunities for implementations of Green Legacy Initiative. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected from both primary and secondary sources. Additionally, spatial data collection tools like GPS technology and photography were involved, and on-site observations along the study watershed were conducted. In addition, soil analysis was conducted to see its short-term effect on selected soil parameters (MC, pH, BD, OC and AvP) and Satellite images were also used. The collected data were analysed according to the nature of its source. en_US
