Abstract:
Low soil fertility and poor crop management practices including use of inappropriate
seeding rate are among the major constraints limiting the productivity of wheat in Ethiopia in
general and in the study area in particular. Thus, the field experiment was conducted to
enhance bread wheat productivity in the study area by determining the optimum seeding and
NPSB blended fertilizer rates. Factorial combination of three levels of seeding rates (100,
125 and 150 kg ha -1 ) with five levels of NPSB blended fertilizer rates (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200
