| dc.description.abstract | Maize (Zea mays L.) is a fundamental staple food crop in Ethiopia, with widespread cultivation and consumption across various regions. Despite continuous growth, maize yields in the study area have not reached their full potential due to persistent nutrient deficiencies and improper fertilizer application practices. To address this issue, a study was conducted in the Nitisols of Omo Nada District; Southwestern Ethiopia in 2023 to identify the key nutrients limiting yields and assess the impact of nutrient omission on maize production.
