dc.description.abstract | Agroforestry is used in home gardens to maintain a wide variety of woody species. Traditionally, woody plant species have been managed by farmers in their home gardens in order to support their livelihood. This study was conducted to investigate the woody species diversity of home garden agroforestry and their traditional management practices across the altitudinal gradient in Dale Wabera district, Kellem Wollega Zone, Western Ethiopia. The study site was stratified into three elevations: lower, middle, and upper. And one kebele was selected purposefully from each elevation category. From each kebele, fifteen home gardens were selected randomly | en_US |
