Degenerate Three-Level Laser Coupled to Thermal Reservoir

Abstract

In this thesis, we have analyzed the photon statistic and quadrature fluctuations of the degenerate three level laser coupled to thermal reservoir. We have found that the mean photon number of the system under consideration decreases with but increases with n. Moreover, the presence of the thermal light indeed affects the squeezing of the degenerate three level laser.
