as unpaved roads constructions in particular have positive
impacts to end users or society.

and documenting the status of the unpaved roads
construction quality at Oromia Roads Construction
Enterprise (ORCE). This was involved identifying the main
problems and point out where the scope lies for improving
and by what means this is possible to do.
To begin with, a literature review has been undertaken in
order to analyze After having analyzed the data, a
questionnaire was designed and distributed to construction
professionals, who are working with clients, contractors,
consultants, funding agents, consumers (end users) and
related stakeholders.
Finally, based on the analysis of the results, the main
problem of the construction parties involved in project
works of Oromia Roads Construction Enterprise is that
culture of implementing quality principles, procedures and
assurance (control) are underestimated. The research
revealed that there seems to be a gap in training the
employees by their employer in the implementation of the
quality management system. In order to improve road
construction quality, extensive training and education on
quality control and management should be given to the
professionals frequently
