Abstract:
In the supply chain, warehousing is very important and used as a bridge for material flow
between supplier and consumer; there this study aims to investigate the effect of warehouse
management practice on supply chain performance ce in the case of Ethio-telecom, southwest
region. An institutors-sectional sectional study triangulated with qualitative study was
employed from May 15/2022 to July 15/2022. A self-administered structured questionnaire
and interview was used for data collection from the employees who work at Ethio-telecom,
Jimma district using a stratified sampling technique. To achieve the objectives of this
research, the study was used both quantitative and qualitative methods, and the
relationships proposed in the framework were tested using descriptive and explanatory
research design. The primary data was conducted from235 employees of the-telecom-selected
staff using a Likert scale type questionnaire as a measuring instrument for the collection of
the employee's perception of the variables. To analyze descriptive data descriptive statistics
like frequencies and percentages has used. To analyze inferential data linear regression was
done through SPSS version 20 software. The result of this study revealed that Receiving
activities, storage activities and order picking activities were statistically significant effects
on Ethio telecom supply chain management performance in Ethio-telecom Jimma district.
These studies recommend that to improve supply chain performance of the district; managers
at different levels), and all stakeholders should work collaboratively to increase supply chain
management performance
