dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this cross-sectional study that employed both qualitative and quantitative design was to study the attitude of 200 randomly and systematically selected intermediate students /adolescents/ from junior colleges in Visakhapatnam city towards their Emotional, vocational, friendship, freedom and religion attributes. The data were collected through self-administered questionnaire and analyzed statistically by using chi-square. As a result, higher frequency was recorded in the attitude of adolescents towards their vocation, religion, and friendship attributes respectively when compared to freedom and emotion. It is also shown that adolescents’ attitude differ according to their sex. That is, while girls’ attitude excelled in the areas of vocation, religion, and freedom, boys surpass in the areas of emotion and friendship.
