dc.description.abstract	THE aim of this sennior essay is to investigate the historical development of Lemi town C1941-1991 The paper is divided in to two four chapter. The fisr chapter attempts to urbinazation in in Africa, in Ethiopiaand also deals with geographical setting of Lemi town and its economic activities . The second chapter deals with historical foundation of Lemi,naming of the town although deals with Lemi town during Emperor Haile Sellasie and Dergue regime .
