dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between School climate and teacher’s commitment in BunnoBeddele zone selected secondary schools. The study employed correlation research design, with quantitative Approaches. Simple random sampling technique was used to select sample Districts of BunnoBeddele zone. There are 9 Districts and 32 secondary schools in BunnoBeddele zone. For this study 3 districts, and 8 secondary school were selected through simple random sampling and purposive sampling techniques. From 8 selected secondary schools 119 teachers selected by random sample, while 8principals were selected throughpurposely. Questionnaires for teachers and principals were used as primary data gathering tools. The questionnaires were administered to 122 teachers and 8 principals119 (97.5%) of teachers Questionnaires were properly filled and returned. Then, the information gathered through a closed-ended questionnaire was analyzed using percentage, frequency, standard deviation and mean score.Teacher Professional Behaviors, has high effects on teachers commitment to their teaching profession so there is high relationships between teachers professional Behaviors, and teachers teaching commitments.While, Affective commitment in the school, relationship between teachers commitment and leaderships and school climate dimensions‟ to Achievement Press in the school to support teachers commitment have medium effects on teachers’ commitment so there are medium relationships between them.Based on the findings and conclusions of the study, the following recommendations were forwarded; the education offices and other stake holders should work hand in hand with districts as well as the regional government level to make sure that the implementation of the government’s plans and strategies towards improving teachers’ conditions are made possible with the proper assigning of principals, vice principals and supervisors, in secondary school of BunoBedele zone. Teachers also personally commited to their profession in order to solve these problems. en_US
