dc.description.abstract The purpose of this research study was to investigate EFL teachers‟ practices, attitudes, and the challenges they face in using content-based instruction. There were 51 participants in the study, chosen through simple random sampling technique and four EFL teachers were chosen purposefully. A mixed methods of research approaches was used because it allows thick description of complex issues to answer the research question that was under the investigation. The sample population of this study were Grade 11th students and the EFL teachers who are teaching EFL at Winy-Diew school. The instruments used for collecting the required data were questionnaire, semi-structured interview, and classroom observation checklist. The methods used for the data analysis and interpretation were quantitative and quantitative research methods. The results of the study were reported by analyzing and interpreting the questions that were developed to answer the research questions and to achieve the research objective; these are questionnaire questions, semi-structured interview questions, and the classroom observation checklist with pre-developed questions. en_US
